P–2 Swimming Program
We’re looking forward to our Prep-Gr 2 Swimming Program commencing next week! As with our Gr 3-6 Swimming Program, it will be a fantastic opportunity for our younger students to build their confidence in the water, develop important swimming and water-safety skills, and have plenty of fun along the way.
A reminder to families to please ensure students come prepared each day with their swimmers, towel and any other required swimming gear.
We can’t wait to see our P–2 students enjoying a great week in the pool!
Student arrival at school
A reminder to families that student supervision at school begins at 8:45am. Students who arrive before this time are not supervised by school staff, so we ask that children do not arrive on school grounds prior to 8:45am.
For families with children who ride their bikes to school independently, please ensure they leave home at an appropriate time so they arrive after 8:45am.
Thank you for helping us ensure all students arrive safely and at a time when staff supervision is available.

Industrial Action update
The next round of ‘stop work’ is currently scheduled for 19 August. If the latest government offer is accepted by the AEU, it is anticipated that the industrial action will not go ahead. Voting by AEU members closes at 10am on Monday the 17th August. As soon as we know the outcome of the vote, we will notify parents via Compass of the implications for potential ‘stop work.’ Thank you all for your support and patience over the duration of these protracted negotiations.
Policy updates
We continue to regularly review and update our school policies to ensure they reflect current Department of Education requirements and the needs of our school community.
Depending on the policy, this process may include consultation with school staff, students, families and School Council. As policies are reviewed and endorsed, updated versions are uploaded to our Policies Page on our school website for our community to access.
