GRADE 2's PROJECT WITH MYLI LIBRARY

Year two enjoyed participating in the Our People, Our Place project led by Myli Library. Students sat with community members - Scott, Shelley, Sam and Neil, asking them questions about their role in the community and painting their portrait. This experience helped students explore people in our community and develop their skills to communicate with others. 

Leongatha Library will be hosting an event in April to launch the project. Everyone is invited to attend and can view the Year two’s amazing portraits. 

TIMTAM 

Timtam had fun today listening to stories and enjoyed a whole school incursion.

EASTER RAFFLE

DONATIONS FOR THE EASTER HAMPERS :    We are accepting donations until Tuesday 31st March.  Raffle tickets are to be in by 9am on Thursday 2nd April sold or unsold please.  Raffle will be drawn on Thursday 2nd April after the Easter Liturgy.

FIRST RECONCILIATION 2026

Last Thursday evening students from St Laurence's and St Joseph's Schools took the second step in their sacramental journey by making their First Reconciliation. Thank you to the teachers and families who prepared the children in their understanding of God's unconditional love and the need to forgive and be forgiven. Thank you also to Father Stanly for leading this reflective liturgy and for enabling all students to feel comfortable in making their First Reconciliation.

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC

On Monday we had a brilliant time celebrating last weeks focus sound ‘b’ with a Teddy Bear Picnic! The children enjoyed bringing along their buddies and bears and eating baked biscuits. A fun and engaging way to support their learning!
