Hi parents, guardians, staff, friends, and welcome to Week 8,

The end of term is fast approaching, and we have so many exciting events and activities going on at TheirCare. This week the theme is Father's / Special Person's Day! We are creating some beautiful creations to surprise our friends and family. The kids are having a blast and using their incredible creativity. The kids have had a ball playing football and cricket outside, Just Dance in the TheirCare room and eating yummy treats this week!

We have also begun our food drive for the Ronald McDonald House which supports families whose children are currently receiving treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital. So, if any families would like to donate food, we have set up a box in the TheirCare room!

We welcome a new staff member to our team, Angie! She is getting to know the kids and families! She will be taking over Ashleigh’s role for the foreseeable future. 

Ashleigh will be taking over Louise’s role and be the new co-ordinator of TheirCare - she has been an incredible staff member and will do amazing in the role!

This week is also Louise’s last week at Footscray West! She will be returning to her roots in Frankston where she grew up! She will miss the beautiful Footscray West community terribly, but we wish her all the best!

Reminder!

Footscray West TheirCare is excited for our Special Person and Father’s Day BBQ. The BBQ will be held on Friday the 1st of September at 3pm at Emu Corner. We encourage and welcome all staff, families, and children to come together to also celebrate Louise’s last day at TheirCare. Our flyer is now posted around the school. Any inquiries please do not hesitate to reach out. 

This week’s Pupil of the Week for Their Care is Annelise Wirth for being a fantastic role model and a friendly face at TheirCare! Well done Anneliese!
