Footscray District Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to all competing students who participated in the Footscray District Athletics Carnival last Thursday at Moonee Valley Athletics Track. All competitors tried their personal best and the support and enthusiasm on the day was outstanding. A big appreciation to the volunteers and parents who attended to support and assist on the day.

The above list outlines the results on the day. The 1st and 2nd placed competitors in all A track events and all X field events will go on to represent the Footscray District at the Maribyrnong Division Carnival to be held at Keilor Park on Tuesday 5th September. Each qualifier can compete in a maximum of two individual events plus a relay. Information and permission note have been sent out via Compass. A big appreciation to the volunteers and parents who attended to support and assist on the day. All students who did not reach the next stage of the Athletics are asked to please return their sports tops to Stratos in the Gym.
