TIMETABLE CHANGES

Please see below changes to the Library timetable:

Week 4 to Week 6 (20th May - 4th June)

Tuesday: K B, K W, 1 RC, 1 V, 2F, 2 RK & 2 S

Wednesday:  3/4 G, 3/4 H, 3/4 MN, 5/6 CL, 5/6 M & 5/6 QW         

Week 7 to Week 10 (10th June - 2nd July)

BOOK FAIR

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the recent Book Fair.

The Fair offered a fantastic range of books for all ages, as well as fun accessories and stationery that were a big hit with the students. It was wonderful to see so many students and their families excited about reading.

Purchases were made either in person at the Fair or online using the students’ Wish Lists. We truly appreciate everyone’s support, as proceeds from all sales are returned to the school in the form of points and can be redeemed for a variety of learning resources.

A big thank you also to the families who purchased books to donate to the Library - our reading resources are constantly growing, and we are grateful for your generosity and thoughtfulness.

This year, our Book Fair sold an amazing $6,500 worth of products!! Thank you everyone!

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS)

Last Wednesday the students were excited to participate in National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) by watching the livestream!

This annual event is organised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and brings together children from across Australia to read the same picture book simultaneously.

This year's book was The Truck Cat, written by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell. After the author had read her story, the children enjoyed an informative Q & A session with the author and illustrator including a demonstration of how to draw the cat, Tinka.
