Prayer for Pope Leo XIV
Loving God,
We thank you for gifting us with Pope Leo to lead our Church.
Grant him wisdom and courage as he guides us in faith and love.
May the Holy Spirit inspire his words and actions,
that he may be a shepherd who cares for all your people,
especially the young and those in need.
Bless him with strength, good health, and peace in his heart.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
First Eucharist
Thank you all the parents who were able to attend the Parent Information Evening last week regarding the Sacrament of First Eucharist. If you were unable to attend and would like your child to receive this Sacrament please contact the School.
First Eucharist Rite of Enrolment Mass
The first weekend of our Enrolment Masses was held on Saturday, 24th May, and Sunday, 25th May. It was wonderful to see so many children and their parents attending and participating in this special rite of enrolment as the candidates prepare to receive this very important Sacrament. We extend our sincere thanks to Father Eli for his support and presence, which allowed the children to take part in this meaningful occasion.
Catholic Schools Week
In 2025, Armidale Catholic Schools in New South Wales, Australia will celebrate Catholic
Schools Week from May 25th to May 31st. This week-long event focuses on celebrating the achievements of school communities and the people dedicated to providing quality education and a nurturing environment for students and staff. The theme for this year is "Pilgrims of Hope."
On Wednesday 28th May, our School Representatives will join Mrs O'Connor and Mrs Hatton at the Catholic Schools Week Mass. This mass will be presided over by Bishop Peter Murphy at the Cathedral in Armidale.
There will also be a special assembly on Friday 30th May to celebrate Catholic Schools Week and the 140th Birthday of our School. Please see the flyer below
Altar Servers
If anyone is interested in being trained to be an Altar Server at school and weekend Mass, please contact the school.
Parish Mass Times
Please join our Parish to celebrate the Eucharist. Our Parish offers two Mass times every weekend.
Saturday - 6:00 pm
Sunday - 8:00 am
