AUSSIE OF THE MONTH

Congratulations to Harvey G for being awarded the Aussie of the Month for May.

POPS CHESS TOURNAMENT

On Tuesday, we hosted our first chess tournament since before COVID, welcoming players from 15 schools across Melbourne. It was fantastic to see our students warmly greet fellow competitors and visiting parents. The day featured a series of matches, culminating in a final round between top players. There were many standout student achievements, especially Nadia.

A big thank you to Mr Grecea and Pearl from Northern Star Chess for organising such a successful event.

3/4 MARKET DAY

The upcoming Year 3/4 Market Day is the exciting culmination of students' research into endangered animals as part of their Geography Inquiry Unit. Working in teams, students have designed and created products to sell, showcasing their hard work, creativity, and dedication.

Market Day will take place on Tuesday, June 3 in the Arts Centre. All students are encouraged to bring along coins to purchase items from the stalls and support their peers' efforts. Classes will be invited to come and view the stalls and make purchases after snack time.

Parents are warmly invited to attend between 11:15am - 12:30pm to join in the fun and see the fantastic work the students have produced. We look forward to seeing you there! Money raised will be donated to Zoo's Victoria.

Thank you to the 3/4 teachers, Mrs Puckering, Mrs Grecea, Mr Moore, Ms Owen, Ms Hahn Mrs Williams and Mrs Quah for their hard work and dedication to enable our students to engage in an authentic and meaningful learning experience.
