Archbishop Fulton Sheen

Today the Catholic church will declare Archbishop Fulton Sheen to be blessed- the first step to becoming a Saint recognised by the Church. This requires a miracle, unable to be explained by science or medicine, to occur. In this case, the heart of a newborn baby, without a pulse for 61 minutes, started to beat again, and the now 16 year old James Fulton Engstrom will attend the beatification ceremony tonight. Some of his extraordinary story is shared here. 

Joseph Fatherhood Initiative

All fathers and father figures are invited to join us for the Joseph Fatherhood Initiative- an evening of faith and fun for fathers/father figures and their children. 

The evening is  a celebration of fatherhood with pizza, faith and fun filled activities.

Wednesday Wellness Walks

As the weather warms up (we hope!), we will hold a wellness walk on the Wednesday mornings of term 4. We will meet after morning drop off, walk to Strathfield park and back. All parents and carers, including parents with prams,  are welcome to improve our health while meeting new members of our community, or reconnecting with those we already know. 

Playgroup 

We enjoyed the warm weather at playgroup this week, heading outdoors for some play and bubble fun. Playgroup will resume in term 4 on Monday October 12.

Rosary

Our Wednesday morning decade of the rosary continues each week from 8:30 inside the Church. This week we prayed before the statue of St Pio on the day of his feast day.

Our adult rosary group continues on Mondays at 2:30 before pick up. All are welcome- rosary beads and prayer cards provided.
