Father’s Day-Gifts Galore!
Students were excited to visit our Father's Day Stall last Friday and choose a special gift for their dad, grandparent, or another special person in their life. With gifts ranging from $2 to $15, there was something for everyone including coasters, skincare products, socks, soaps, chocolates, puzzles to name a few. A very special thank you to Danielle Robinson and her team of volunteers for organising and running the stall!
Fathers Day Breakfast
Our Father's and special people were treated to a scrumptious breakfast where they enjoyed egg and bacon rolls, cheese rolls and great coffee from our coffee cart. Activities on the morning included our BBall dad shoot off, and family Polaroid Snaps in a giant TPS frame. A big thankyou to Peter Bouchier Meats in Hawksburn who provided a voucher for our raffle winner and to Tamara O'Hare and her crew of volunteers for organising the event. Funds raised will go towards outdoor furniture for our deck area.
Grade 3/4 Orrong Park Walk, Games and Party
4B, 4C and 3C combined their tokens to earn a class reward: a party at Orrong Park last Thursday. They all got to bring some food and games and spent two hours enjoying themselves in the park.
One of the students brought along some elastic, and students enjoyed playing skipping games. The older students also had the chance to teach the younger students a new game. They all had a great time, and we even managed to avoid the rain!
Art Show - What an Extravaganza!
It was fantastic to see the school come alive la Thursday night, with families wandering through the hall and library, admiring our students’ artwork, having a go at the art activities and catching up with each other. There was a huge variety of work on display, and it was lovely to see the students’ personalities coming through in their pieces.
A big thank you to everyone who helped put the night together, from our staff and parent volunteers to the families who came along and supported the event. We couldn’t have done it without you! And a very well-deserved well done to all of our student artists!
And of course, a huge thank you to Miss Reynolds, who worked tirelessly throughout the year to bring the Art Show together. So much time and effort goes into an event like this, and it certainly showed on the night!
Grade 5 My Best Self Dance Programme
This term, our grade 5 students attended a weekly 'My Best Self Dance Programme' which concentrated on developing resilience, respect and leadership. Students had fun learning a variety of dance moves which generated plenty of laughter along the way! As part of the programme, students were required to reflect on their learning and personal growth each week through writing in their journals. The program came to a close this week with a performance to parents showcasing their fantastic dance skills.
