Junior School News

Welcome back to Term 4!

As we head into the final term, excitement is building across the Junior School! With a range of fun and meaningful events planned, there’s plenty for our students to look forward to. In this edition, we highlight some of the goals and upcoming activities our Prep students are especially excited about.

Magnus: This term, I want to get better at kicking the footy. I hope Mrs Jones can help me! I also want to get better at batting in cricket.

Lexi: This term, I'm going to learn new words in Mandarin. Miss Song helps us learn new words. I cannot wait for the disco too, I'm excited to dress up. When I go to the disco I'm going to bring some jewellery!

Margot: I want to get better at Art! I can't wait for the Art Show!

Sofia: I want to learn to make new friends and be myself. I also want to learn how to write my own book. I'm looking forward to the Art Show too!

Freddie: At playtime when I'm playing tag, I want to get better at tagging my friends. This term, I'm looking forward to everything!

St Mary’s Junior Soccer Tournament run by Year 6 Sports Leaders

During the last week of Term 3, our Year 1–3 students took part in the St Mary’s Junior Soccer Tournament. It was a fantastic day filled with fun, teamwork, and plenty of exciting matches.

A huge congratulations to Team 1 for taking out the win! The team included Alfie Adderley, Alfie Logan, Leo Nyugen, and Year 1 students JJ Nearchou, Marco Ratcliffe, and Sam Kymantis.

All players gave their best effort, showing great sportsmanship and school spirit. It was truly a day to remember for everyone at St Mary’s.
