Assistant Principal's Report

Mrs Rose Thomson AP Teaching and learning

At Greensborough College, we are proud of the strong culture we have built around high-ability learning. Through a combination of in‑school enrichment and high achiever classes, VCE acceleration pathways and partnerships with the Department of Education and external providers, we continue to create meaningful opportunities for our students to thrive.

One of our valued partners is the Centre for Higher Education Studies (CHES). CHES provides high-ability students with access to enriched learning experiences, exposure to university-style study and insight into future pathways. We are pleased to share several important updates and upcoming opportunities from CHES with our school community.

Education Week

Our school is celebrating Education Week 2026 from Monday 18 May to Friday 22 May.

This year’s theme is ‘Showcase your school’, encouraging school communities to celebrate what’s great about their school.

There are so many great things about Greensborough College, from our people to our school facilities, our learning programs and our supportive school community.

To celebrate Education Week, our school will be encouraging students to draw or write about the best part of their school and offer house points and merits for entries.
