Climate Change Excursion

8G went on a ‘Climate Change’ excursion on Tuesday 5th September, at the Melbourne Museum and IMAX.

I am writing with great happiness to inform you that each student who went on this excursion made our college proud by showcasing our values in the community. They were cooperative, encouraging, supportive and fun. They all participated in the learning activity - Climate Change and Victoria's future, with full enthusiasm.

A big thanks to Ronique and Shanaz for accompanying us. Thanks to Mary, Hannah, Vivian S, Doreen, Mahsa and Nadia for helping with all the paperwork.

The learnings from the workshop will be taken further and incorporated in the cross-curricular unit of work that I am designing for CEAPS - Sustainability. I will incorporate the following in the teaching sequence that will run in term 4:

We want our students to have strong literacy and numeracy skills by applying them in the real-world scenarios, in this case: Climate Change.
