Prep 2026

Offers for 2026 Prep places were posted out today. We have been able to offer places to everyone who applied in both the main and Steiner inspired streams.

There was a significant increase in the number of applications, particularly the Steiner inspired stream, to attend TPS, due to the strong advocacy work of the school community.

Once acceptance and enrolment forms have been returned, we will be able to confirm the class structure for next year. It is not uncommon that prospective parents apply to more than one school, and we anticipate that the initial interest might not necessarily translate to confirmed enrolments.

Acceptance of offers is due by Friday 22nd August.

At this time of year, we commence planning for the following year including class structures and workforce planning. If you know that you will be leaving TPS at the end of the year (other than current Year 6 students) can you please notify the office.

Building works update

A lot has happened since the end of Term 2. Demolition has been completed and civil works preparing the site for the new buildings commenced this week. Work on the new art room (old multi-purpose room) has included internal framing, electrical and plumbing. Work over the next two weeks includes:

· Bricklaying – around the new entry and windows of the new art room – temporary barriers will be installed on the west side of the new art room (adjacent to the junior playground) while this work is happening.

· New windows and doors to be installed on the new art room

· Piling works to commence for the new buildings, starting from the south end of the school (Hutton Street).

The scheduled completion for the new art room is by the end of the term, so it is likely we will begin Term 4 with classes in the new art room.
