Principal's Message

I would like to welcome everyone to Term 3 at our school.  The holiday break seems to have been a wonderful time judging from the comments of our students.  We are looking forward to this term as there will be a number of excursions for the various grade levels, sporting events and swimming at the end of term for the Year 3 – Year 6 students.  As happened in 2024, the Foundation – Year 2 students will have swimming in Term 4.

On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, we held our parent / teacher interviews. The interviews were well attended and provided a great opportunity to discuss the progress of each child and any areas of concern.  Parents of student  in Year 3 and Year 5 were also given NAPLAN results.

Of course, parents need not wait for organised interviews and are welcome to make arrangements at any time to have a discussion about a child’s progress.

Please note in this Newsletter there is information about the upcoming closure of the Webster Street railway crossing.  This work will start in Spring and will impact all of the residents around our school.

I wish all families a wonderful week.

Leonie Fitzgerald
