SHINE YOUR LIGHT
Thank you to all our staff for your incredible commitment and hard work throughout what has been an exceptionally busy term.
I especially appreciate the additional work of our Leaders Eva, Dominique, Con, Sienna and Lil who have undertaken to manage the many demands of the term and to support our classroom teachers and staff.
Thank you to everyone for your patience, flexibility, professionalism and continued efforts to support one another and, most importantly, our students.
I am very grateful for all that each of you and your students contribute to St Kevin’s.
I hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved, restful, peaceful and safe holiday. Take time to recharge, spend time with your loved ones and enjoy the break.

Thank you to PFA for organising and managing the Father’s Day Stall
Thank you to our wonderful PFA for organising and managing our Father’s Day Stall.
There was so much excitement and joy as our students carefully selected special gifts for their dads, grandfathers and the special people in their lives.
An event like this takes a great deal of organisation, planning and preparation to create such a fun and memorable experience for our students.
We are incredibly thankful to our PFA and all the wonderful helpers who generously gave their time to make the Father’s Day Stall such a success. We are very grateful for all that you do for our St Kevin’s community!
Thank you to all families who attended the Father’s Day Breakfast
It was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout and a real sense of community as we came together to celebrate Father’s Day.
Our students were so excited and proud to have their dads, grandfathers and the special people in their lives join them for breakfast. It was a lovely opportunity to spend time together and create some special memories.
A heartfelt thank you to Ana, Fr Charles and Ms Cesarin for their organisation, support and contribution to making the morning such a special occasion for our students and families.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our Father’s Day Breakfast such a wonderful community celebration.
Art Show 2026
The level of skill, creativity and learning evident in the students’ work was truly impressive. It was wonderful to see the progression of learning and the many different artistic techniques and talents showcased throughout the exhibition.
A massive thank you to Mr Con for his inspiration, dedication and instruction. The skills, techniques and creativity our students have developed over the past six months have been incredible to witness. The students will never forget the skills they have learned and the wonderful experiences they have shared. Thank you, Mr Con, for inspiring our students and giving them the confidence to create such amazing artwork. Your passion and commitment have certainly made a lasting impact.
I am also so pleased to have a very special piece of student artwork now proudly displayed in my office. It is incredible, and I will treasure having it as part of my office.
Congratulations to our students on their outstanding work, and thank you to all our staff for inspiring, teaching and supporting them to develop their creativity and artistic skills.
Most importantly, it was wonderful to see the joy and pride on our students’ faces as they saw their artwork proudly displayed for everyone to enjoy. They were so excited to share their creations with their families and friends and celebrate everything they had achieved.
What a wonderful celebration of our students, their creativity and their learning!
Fund Raiser Art Show
A massive thank you to our wonderful PFA, SAC and all the helpers who contributed so much to making our Art Show such a fantastic community event!
There was an incredible amount of work happening behind the scenes — cooking sausages, baking delicious sweets, packing lolly bags, coordinating biscuit decorating and face painting, providing stars for decorating, and collecting vouchers and prizes for our raffle.
It takes an enormous amount of organisation, generosity and teamwork to bring all of these activities together. Thank you, thank you! We are so grateful to our PFA, SAC and everyone who gave their time, contributed items and helped create such a fun and joyful experience for our students and families.
All money raised from the event will go towards new water coolers for our students, making your efforts even more meaningful.
Thank you again to our PFA, SAC and our wonderful helpers for your generosity, enthusiasm and continued support of our students and the St Kevin’s community.
INTENTIONS FOR 2027
If your child/ren will not be returning to St Kevin’s in 2027, please notify the school office or send me an email (gleone@sktemplestowelr.catholic.edu.au) as soon as possible.
Having accurate enrollment information is very important and will assist us greatly with our 2027 class sizes, staffing and school organisation.

Italian
Ciao a tutti,
I hope all students and families have had an amazing Term 3!
For our final week of Italian, students will be doing some revision while getting involved in fun games, including Tombola, Buzz, and some of our other favourite Italian classroom games.
We have also been using Gelati PBLs as a fun way to encourage students to have a go and contribute during Italian lessons. Well done to all of our students for their wonderful participation, and a special shoutout to our gelati winners, who will be claiming their prizes on Thursday.

Community News
News about Dearna (LSO) - Congratulations
Congratulations to Dearna Piccirilli, who has accepted an LSO position at a nearby school commencing in Term 4, 2026. Dearna’s last day at St Kevin’s will be 18th September.
We thank Dearna for her contribution to St Kevin’s and, in particular, for the care and support she has provided to our students and staff during her time with us.
We wish you every success and happiness, Dearna, as you begin this next chapter in your educational journey. Congratulations and all the very best for your new role!

We are all thinking of you, Con, and sending you our love and very best wishes for a speedy recovery. We hope you are feeling stronger each day and look forward to seeing you back at St Kevin’s when you are ready.
