Year Six Team: Marco (Leader), Kieran, Marshal & Mikala
Orchard to Plate
6MI and few extra grade 6 students who often help in the orchard made homemade rice noodles from rice paper left over from the grade 5's cooking for the stir fry.
We also harvested from the orchard:
- Stir Fry Items
- Chinese cauliflower
- Pak Choy (what was left of it)
- All of the carrots
- Lettuce for salad with parsley and rosemary (served with an Asian dressing)
- Silverbeet for silverbeet chips!
It was a massive success and we were able to make good use of many items in the orchard.
