The AGM will cover the following key items:
- Review of the past year's activities and achievements
- Financial report and budget overview
- Election of Committee members
- Discussion of upcoming events and initiatives

🍻 Class of 1996 to celebrate 30-Year Reunion
We are excited to be welcoming back the Class of 1996 this year to celebrate their 30-Year Reunion. So, what was happening 30 years ago -
- It was the dawn of the DVD era and a booming internet
- John Howard defeats Paul Keating to become Australia's 25th Prime Minister
- Major gun law reform following the devastating Port Arthur massacre in Tasmania
- Prince Charles and Princess Diana agree to a divorce
- Los del Rio's Macarena and Fugees' Killing Me Softly With His Song top the charts
- Independence Day, Twister and Mission: Impossible are blockbuster hits of 1996
- 🥇Old BoyAnthony Edwards (SPC 1985-90) wins bronze at the Atlanta Olympics
And at SPC in 1996 -
- College Principal is Br Laurie Collins
- Lyndon Watson is named College Captain; Vice Captains Matthew Hanlon & Xavier McKinnon
- Andrew Gibbs wins the Purton Oratory
- College production this year was "A Street Car Named Desire"
- SPC First XVIII Football team reaches the final of the Herald Sun Shield Competition for the first time in 17 years; defeated by Parade College in grand final;
- SPC wins six of the 10 races at Head of the Lake regatta, 2nd in main race
- First XI Cricket wins sixth premiership in a row; First IV Tennis wins BPSA shield, First XI Soccer & Basketball teams defeated in grand finals
- Edward D'Auvergne is named College Dux
We would love to see as many who graduated, or were due to graduate in 1996, to enjoy the opportunity to catch up once again at reunion evening on Saturday 16 May.

Reminiscing 40 years on for Class of 1986
We are also excited to be welcoming back the Class of 1986 for their 40-Year Reunion.
Back in 1986, we marked the following big events -
- Chernobyl nuclear disaster in the Soviet Union
- Challenger Space Shuttle explodes 73 seconds after liftoff
- Downfall of President Ferdinand Marcos in the Phillippines
- Mike Tyson becomes youngest heavyweight boxing champion
- Lindy Chamberlain released from prison after 39 years of a life sentence
- Russell Street Bombing at Victoria Police Headquarters in Melbourne
- Crocodile Dundee is released & becomes a worldwide smash hit
- Neighbours makes its debut on TV
- Hawthorn defeats Magpies in the VFL Grand Final; and Robert DiPierdomenico ties for Brownlow Medal with Greg Williams from the Swans
- You're The Voice spends seven weeks at number one on the Aussie charts
And at SPC in 1986 -
- College Principal is Br Tom Kearney
- Matron McMahon retires
- Martin Healy is College Captain
- Top cricketer Leo O'Brien (SPC 1921), who played in the famed Bodyline series, visits College
- College presentation to Old Boy Steve Moneghetti (SPC 1975-80) who goes on to make stellar international debut, winning a bronze medal 🥉 in the marathon at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, launching his legendary marathon career
- Paul Laffey wins the Purton Oratory; musical production is Godspell
- Blessing ceremony of The Grotto (later replaced by Br O'Malley junior classroom building)
- SPC wins senior, intemediate and aggregate boys titles at CHISSA carnival
- First XVIII Football team are named BPS premiers and champions, First XI Hockey team wins BPSA competition & Men's Hockey Shield; triumph also for First IV Tennis
- Volleyball is introduced to SPC for the first time
