Welcome to Term 2!

Term 2, 2026 – Start of Term Update

We’ve had a great start to Term 2, 2026! It’s been wonderful to see how excited the students are to be back at school.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Parent/Teacher Interviews will take place on Monday, 27th April 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Bookings can be made through Xuno. If you experience any issues when booking, please contact the school office for assistance.

Attendance

Last term we noticed that some Year 7 students have been absent or arriving late on multiple occasions. Please ensure that your child arrives at school on time each day, as consistent attendance is vital for their learning and development. If students are late and miss roll-call, students must sign in via Passtab iPad outside the school reception office - failure to do so results in 'unexplained absence' alert SMS messages to parents. 

Homework

A significant number of students have not been completing or submitting their homework tasks. For Maths, all homework assignments are uploaded to the Xuno platform. Students and parents can use Xuno to:

• View assigned tasks

• Print extra worksheets (if needed)

• Check submission status

• Read teacher feedback

To support students in staying on track, we will be introducing a lunchtime homework session starting this term. Students who have not completed their homework will be required to attend and complete the assigned tasks during this time.

Diaries

Students' diaries will be checked and signed every Friday. However, some students have not been bringing their diaries to class. Students should always carry their diary to note important details.

MPower and Man cave Sessions

On Tuesday 21st April all year 7 -10 students participated in MPower (girls) and Man cave (boys). The sessions were well received by the students. Hopefully they have all picked up some valuable skills from these sessions.
