CONGRATULATIONS MR & MRS BORG
Congratulations to Ms Ashleigh Withers on her recent marriage to Nathan Borg. We wish Ashleigh and Nathan all the best for the years ahead and pray that God blesses them both.
YEAR 5 & 6 CAMP
The Year 5 & 6s had a great time at camp last week. They experienced a range of outdoor activities, including The Giant Leap of Faith, Laser Tag and Canoeing. Camps provide students with an opportunity to experience things they otherwise may not. I would like to thank all the staff who attended the camp, making the sacrifice to be away from their families overnight. Without the commitment and dedication of our St John’s Staff we would not be able to offer this incredible opportunity to our students, as you can see from the pics below, the students had a fantastic time:
REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY
We gathered as a school yesterday to hold our Remembrance Day Ceremony. This day is an opportunity for us to remember the sacrifices made by members of our armed forces, to ensure the peace and safety of others.
CHILD SAFETY
The Linewize platform helps schools, students and families to develop better digital habits, while also monitoring and tracking digital usages. With St John’s now working in partnership with Linewize, our parents have access to an Online Safety Parent Hub, via the school’s website. This Hub has a wealth of tips and information for families.
In this digital age, children have easy access to technology, and it's essential for parents to ensure their online experiences are safe. Parents may find it challenging to monitor their child's tech use, especially if the child is more tech-savvy. Using parental control tools can be an effective way to protect and support children's online activities and reduce parental stress.
