Weekly Values Focus

This week's values focus:
Week 3: Footscray West students work together
Working together means collaborating, cooperating, and making sure everyone feels included. We show this when we listen to each other’s ideas, share fairly, and take turns. Sometimes we need to discuss and compromise so that everyone has a say and can be part of the team. It’s not always about getting our own way – it’s about finding a solution that works for the whole group.
When we collaborate, we learn from each other and can achieve more than we ever could on our own. Whether it’s solving a problem in class, playing a game outside, or completing a project together, working cooperatively helps us succeed and makes the experience more enjoyable for everyone.
This week, have a think about how you work with others and ask yourself: “Am I listening carefully? Am I sharing fairly? Am I willing to compromise?” You will be surprised at what a difference this makes, and how much stronger we are when we all work together.
