2025 Year 9 City School

The annual Year 9 City School program will take place from Monday 8th September to Friday 12th September. Each day, the Year 9 cohort will take public transport to the Melbourne CBD, where they will take part in various cultural, educational, artistic and explorative activities, with the goal being to support our young people to become independent thinkers and planners, with essential life skills. With their home base at Federation Square, teacher-led groups will explore parts of Melbourne using maps, public transport and walking tours.

Congratulations Kala!

A massive congratulations to Year 9 student Kala, who this week was awarded 3rd prize for her submission in the Victorian Parliament prize, advocating for more inclusive tennis centres for vision-impaired students. 

There were 1467 submissions, and Kala was in the top 3 of the Year 7 to 9 category. This included submissions from Government, Catholic and Private schools across the state in both Primary and Secondary Schools.
