Head Start Program: School-Based Apprenticeships

We are proud to announce that two of our Year 11 VCE-VM students have secured SBATs (School-Based Apprenticeships) in their chosen fields.

Ruben will be completing a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology through his employer Jefferson Motor Group.

Eve will be completing a Certificate III in Hairdressing through her employer SAS Hairdressing in St Kilda.

Both SBATs have been organised through the Victorian government Head Start program, who will support Ruben and Eve through their SBAT journey.

External VET Enrolments for 2026 Now Open

Enrolments for External VET programs in 2026 are now open.

All students have received an email at their @schools (Edupass) account containing a form that must be completed before the enrolment process can begin.

Submitting the form early increases the chances of securing a place in the student's preferred course and location.

Subject Selection Interviews – Years 9, 10 & 11

At the start of term, all Year 9, 10 and 11 students have taken part in Subject Selection Interviews as part of their preparation for 2026 pathways and subject choices.

These interviews provided an opportunity for students to discuss their strengths, interests, and future goals with staff, ensuring their subject choices align with both their aspirations and the requirements for their chosen pathways.

Thank you to students for coming prepared and engaging thoughtfully in these discussions, and to staff for supporting each student in making informed decisions for the year ahead.
