French Day Celebrations
TPS recently celebrated Bastille Day with a fantastic French Day full of fun and learning! Students came to school dressed in blue, white and red to celebrate France's national day.
Throughout the day, students enjoyed delicious crepes, madeleines and galette cookies. A big thank you to France at Home for generously providing the galette cookies. If you would like to explore authentic French groceries and treats, visit franceathome.com.au.
Students also took part in an exciting workshop with The French Circus, where they learnt to spin plates, use flower sticks and juggle balls while practising French vocabulary for parts of the body. It was a wonderful way to combine language learning with movement, creativity and lots of laughter!
Merci to everyone who helped make French Day such a memorable celebration.
