Year 3

Earlier this term we explored the wonderful world of poetry! The students  learnt about the different features of poems, including rhyme, rhythm, descriptive language, repetition and different poetry structures. They enjoyed experimenting with words and ideas to create their own poems, including acrostic poems. We have attached some wonderful examples of their work for you to enjoy.

We have also been reading Rowan of Rin and have been inspired by the mysterious world, characters and, of course, the dragons! As part of our learning, the students have created their own dragon artwork, using their imaginations to design and illustrate their very own dragon eye.
