Senior Hub

Year 6 - Term 3 Mecwacare 

This term Mecwacare Age care has been lots of fun. We have been playing bingo and even doing fun activities like trivia and charades. The elderly residents have been very welcoming and friendly, we always look forward to visiting them every time. In bingo we play a couple rounds sitting next to the elderly residents and giving them a helping hand. Whenever someone gets bingo they get rewarded either a small bag of chips or a chocolate. The staff are really kind there and let us call out the bingo numbers which is very fun and makes it more interesting for us. Throughout the terms we have been trying to arrange other activities like sewing and other things. 

Senior Hub

In the senior hub we have been really busy doing many fun things. One of them being our buddies. On Tuesday was the 100 days of prep. We celebrated the preps and had buddy time later in the day, we all enjoyed seeing the preps in their outfits and having such a fun day. In electives we have been doing many things, for instance, we have been doing photography. We learnt the different angles and shots, we planned our movie using Lego figures and drawing out scenes and then we got to work filming everything. We also had a gala day on Thursday, the girls had footy, and the boys netball. It was very fun and everyone enjoyed it. We have had lots of fun and are looking forward to doing even more activities.
