Restorative Conversations at Chilwell

At Chilwell we use restorative conversations to help students repair damaged relationships, build empathy, and resolve conflicts. Instead of assigning blame or imposing purely punitive measures, they guide individuals through a reflective process to understand the impact of their actions, take accountability, and find ways to make things right.

They help students to:

  • understand impact of  actions
  • repair relationships
  • take responsibility
  • learn better ways to respond next time
  • reconnect with the learning community
