Thank You for Attending Parent/Carer-Teacher Conferences
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Parent/Carer-Teacher Conferences this week. We greatly value the strong partnership between home and school and appreciate the time you took to meet with your child's teacher(s).
We hope the Conferences provided a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's academic, social and emotional learning, celebrate their achievements, and identify ways we can continue to work together to support their growth and success.
Talking the Talk: Healthy Sexuality Education
Talking the Talk founder Vanessa Hamilton will present an online parent/carer information session next Monday evening.
For further information, including session details, please refer to the Wellbeing News section of this newsletter.
Review of Our Language Program
We will be commencing a review of our language program to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of our students, reflects the priorities of our school community, and aligns with our strategic direction.
Parents and carers with an interest in languages education are invited to express their interest in joining the Languages Education Working Party by contacting me directly or through the school office.
Arriving at School
An increasing number of senior school students are arriving at school well before the start of the school day. While we recognise and value the importance of social time and opportunities for students to connect with their friends, families are reminded that the school yard is not supervised until 8:45 am.
If your child makes their own way to school, we ask that you have a conversation with them about the time they leave home to help ensure they arrive at school from 8:45 am onwards. Arriving at an appropriate time helps to ensure students are safely supervised before the school day begins.
