Token News

We already have so many students around the school who have earned 100 tokens this year, so over the next few weeks we will start honouring them at assembly with our 2026 commemorative badge. There have also been lots of visits to the prize box this term as well as students being classroom leader and teacher helper or redeeming for an activity of their choosing from the token redemption menu. As the cold starts to set in, we anticipate quite a few lunchtime movie redemptions to occur.

Congratulations goes to 3J who brought in the most bread tag tokens last term, closely followed by 3B and 5P. Mrs Peterson spent many hours spray painting these over the holidays ready for Term 2.

Play Pod

Our play pod continues to be a very popular choice during recess and lunch times. It is always fabulous to see the creativity, imagination and teamwork skills in action. This week our Year Two students enjoyed setting up a marble / tyre run.

Butterfly Body Bright

Over the past couple of weeks our teaching staff have been undertaking the Butterfly Body Bright online training modules. These have resulted in lots of reflection on current practices, and some goal setting for staff and classrooms moving forward. Year 5 and 6 will be conducting some sessions from this program over the next couple of terms, with some of our other year levels also including some of the lessons or messaging into their wellbeing sessions also.
