End of Year Message to the Valkstone Community

Dear Valkstone students, parents, and community members,

As we wrap up another wonderful year, I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and restful break, and a very happy New Year! I know I'm certainly looking forward to some quality time to refresh and recharge with my family.

I'm incredibly proud of all our graduating Grade 6 students.  Best of luck as you begin your exciting high school journeys in 2026! I'd also like to extend warm wishes to any students who will be starting at a new primary school in the new year.

I look forward to seeing everyone back at school in 2026, ready for another great year ahead.

Bayside City Council Youth Services is offering creative and fun activities for young people aged 10-17 with a connection to Bayside (live, work, school, or play):

• Street Art Workshop @ Peterson Youth Centre, Tuesday 13 January – $45
• Slime Making and Hangout @ Peterson Youth Centre, Thursday 15 January – FREE
• Sports Day @ Peterson Youth Centre, Wednesday 21 January – $15
• Out There Sailing @ Sandringham Yacht Club, Thursday 22 January – $50
• VR Experience @ Sandringham Library, Friday 23 January – FREE (ages 12-18)
