Sport Update

Jogging Club
A reminder that jogging club finishes up Thursday 11th December.
This is the last opportunity for students to fill in their cards in order to receive a certificate at our last assembly.
It was mentioned at the beginning of the year that those students with the highest number of laps/km’s for their area, will receive a prize (1 from the junior school, 1 from the middle school and 1 from the senior school).
These will be awarded at assembly.
House Points
As the year draws to a close, our staff are still giving out house points to students who ASPIRE to be their best! The house captains are still collecting weekly points.
The total house points for the year will be collated and the winning team FOR THE YEAR will be announced at our final assembly.
The students from the winning house colour will be invited to wear their House Colours to school on Thursday 18th December. This only applies to the winning team. All other students will be expected to wear full school uniform.
This is a way of recognising students in the winning house, for all their hard work throughout the year.
At our last assembly, BLUE was in the lead. I wonder... can they maintain first position until the end?! 😊
House Sports
Last week our students competed in modified house sports during their PE classes.
Each grade competed in their teams wearing colour bands and sitting in their team lines.
The students participated in a variety of relay races and earnt house points for coming
1st - 4th in each race.
The egg & spoon race, bean bag toss, the rubber chicken race & the silly race were just a few of the events that were attempted. All students participated to the best of their ability and supported each other.
The points gained for each class were then added together to form an overall total.
The winner of this year's house sports will be announced at our final assembly.
They will have their house colour added to our house sports trophy, which will be presented to the winning house captain.
