Captain's Catch Up!

Our 4 School Captains, Lawson, Ruby, Emilie and Moses will give your a recount of the

 John Paul College Lightning Prem

2 weeks ago on a very hot Friday the Year 5/6 cohort travelled on a bus to John Paul College. We participated in three sports: Netball, Volley Stars and Football. Our school all went out, tried their very best and gave it a red hot crack. Unfortunately, none of our three teams placed, but that's alright because everybody enjoyed themselves and had lots of fun having a day outside of school and playing sports with their friends.

John Paul College supplied us with sausages, juice boxes and even referees for the games. It was nice to see all of our old classmates and hear how they are going in high school. We are very thankful for the opportunity to participate in the 2026 John Paul Lightning Prem and especially thankful to John Paul College for hosting the event.

This gave us the opportunity to learn about physical education, sportsmanship and interacting with new people that we may join in high school. We thank Mrs Gilling for organising the whole event including the other schools, not just ours.

We hope you have all had a wonderful 3 weeks of Term and continue to enjoy Term 4.

Sincerely,

Your School and Vice Captains

Lawson, Ruby, Emilie and Moses
