🏖️ Holiday Safety Tips for a Fun and Safe Break! 🌞

Dear Parents and Carers,

As the school holidays approach, we want to wish all our families a joyful and relaxing break. While holidays are a time for fun and adventure, it's also important to keep safety in mind—whether you're staying local or heading away.

Here are some simple tips to help keep our children safe this holiday:

🌳 Out and About

• Remind children to stay close to a trusted adult in busy places.
• Always use pedestrian crossings and look both ways before crossing roads.
• If riding bikes or scooters, don’t forget helmets and protective gear!

🏠 At Home

• Keep matches, cleaning products, and medicines out of children’s reach.
• Make sure children know not to answer the door or use appliances without an adult.

🌊 Water Safety

• Always supervise children near water – whether it’s at the beach, pool, or even a paddling pool.
• Teach them the basics of water safety: no running near pools, no swimming alone, and what to do in an emergency.

🌞 Sun Smart

• Slip on a shirt, Slop on sunscreen, Slap on a hat, Seek shade, and Slide on sunglasses!
• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, especially on hot days.

We hope everyone enjoys the holidays safely and comes back ready for a great new term. Have a fantastic break!

As a result of the Quality Assurance process and discussion. It is recommended that all medical documentation and reports that families are sending to staff be sent via email or in a hard copy. Please do not use the seesaw app to send medical information to school.
