What Are School Policies and Why Do We Need Them?

School policies are formal guidelines that outline expectations, rules, and procedures within a school community. They cover a wide range of areas, including student behaviour, staff responsibilities, safety protocols, academic standards, and inclusivity measures.

These policies are essential because they:
