Mission Month and Mission Day
October is Mission Month for the Catholic community, a time we come together to learn more about social justice and how we can be the change the world needs.
This year, Catholic Mission and the broader Catholic community will come together to celebrate World Mission Month, guided by the theme “Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples.” Together, we have the power to create change and build a more just world for people everywhere. By supporting missionaries in their work, we can create life-changing opportunities for countless children, families, and communities worldwide. Join us in making a difference for our sisters and brothers.
For our students, Mission Day is the culmination of learning and the action for making a difference for those in need. This year our Mission Day fete will be held on Friday
14th November allowing the students several weeks to learn about the purpose of Mission Month and create plans they can action to make a difference to those living in poverty.
