Mr Hyatt

Farewell 2023!

By the time the newsletter has been sent home, all of the students will be enjoying the very first hour of their school holidays and I have to admit that I am very jealous of them as I don't finish until Tuesday afternoon. However, I know good times must come to an end and when the bell went at 3.00pm earlier this afternoon, there were tears, joy, relief as well as several mixed emotions expressed by both the students and staff. I had to have a box of tissues on standby.

The year 2023 has truly been remarkable! As I take a moment to contemplate, I am in awe of the achievements our school community has accomplished. I want to express my gratitude to every one of you for your unwavering support, valuable advice, and invaluable guidance. Without your contributions, our students would not have had the chance to attain the remarkable number of accomplishments they have achieved. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for being an integral part of our team, which plays a significant role in making St Patrick's an exceptional school and, in my humble opinion, the finest school in NSW.

We farewell the Year 6 students, knowing that St Patrick's Primary has prepared these students well for Secondary School.  Farewell to Hamish, Tylar, Olivia, Annie, Nate, Lachie, Mary and Addison.

To the Year 6 families who leave us at the end of 2023, after a long association, we wish you well. Farewell & thank you to the Foster-Wall family.

We also say farewell to Teddy Healey and his family as we wish them all of the best in their future endeavours.

We also bid farewell to Mrs Healey as she will be commencing her new role at St Agnes Primary School at Port Macquarie next year.

To all of our beloved families, I extend my heartfelt wishes for love and tranquility, embodying the essence of Christmas, along with a prosperous and joyous new year!
