LIDS 4 KIDS UPDATE

Naranga School community have been busy collecting and donating plastic lids this year.

The past few weeks our Eco Warriors have been sorting lids by size and colour. They checked to make sure lids were clean to include in bags to prevent contamination. With your help we collected 15.27 kilograms of lids. This is equivalent to the weight of a medium sized microwave. The plastic lids will be on their way to the recycling hub in Clyde. We would like to thank Catherine Piasecki for taking the time to deliver them. 

The sustainability team would like to thank the school community for their support towards this cause. 

Ever considered creating Christmas decorations from recycled materials?     

Junior students learned how to make a decoration using two paper plates, crayons, and pictures from old cards. They enjoyed creating something new. Junior Martin students did a wonderful job with their window decorations.
