Welcome and overall learning summary

Welcome
We extend a warm welcome to all the new families joining us and a heartfelt welcome back to our returning families. Term Three offered numerous enriching learning experiences that enhanced students' growth mindsets and resilience, including the Year Six Camp at ADANAC, GWPS Athletics and various whole school events. It was inspiring to see students working together, encouraging, and supporting one another throughout these activities.
As we move into Term Four, our Year Six students are reaching the final stage of their journey at GWPS before transitioning to secondary school. To mark this important milestone, we have planned several exciting events, including the Year Six Graduation Ceremony on Thursday 4th December and Celebration Day at Luna Park on Friday 5th December. Additionally, there will be a Statewide Transition Day on Tuesday 9th December, where students heading to government high schools will get a preview of what to expect.
We will provide more details about these significant events as the term progresses. If you or your child have any questions about graduation or the transition to Year Seven, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any member of the Year Six team or Mr. Catalano. We are here to offer support in any way we can.
