NSWPSSA GIRL'S HOCKEY CARNIVAL

Congratulations to Jessica and the Polding Team for their outstanding performance at the NSWPSSA Hockey Carnival in Newcastle this week. They showcased their skills against the top girl's hockey players from all over New South Wales, and it's been reported that Jessica was among the standout players. Once again, well done! Take this opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break before gearing up for the Polding Cross Country Trials next Wednesday.

POLDING CROSS COUNTRY TRIALS

Best wishes to Angus, Benji, Jessica, and Josie as they prepare to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Cross Country Trials on Wednesday, 5th June in Sydney. They will be facing tough competition from top cross country runners across the northern half of the state.  We know all of you will do us proud.

DIOCESAN RUGBY UNION GALA TRIALS

The Diocesan Rugby Trials are scheduled for tomorrow. On behalf of the St Patrick's learning community, I would like to extend our best wishes to our players Angus, Bentley, Digby, and Tom. We have full confidence that these four boys will represent St Patrick's Primary admirably.

SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL-Friday 21st June

In the near future, we will be hosting our athletics carnival (Friday 21st June) at Walcha Central. An information note will be sent out through the COMPASS Portal to provide all the necessary details. To guarantee the success of our carnival, we are in great need of additional volunteers. Furthermore, the P and F kindly request assistance from any volunteers who can help with the operation of the barbecue and the stall they will be managing throughout the day.

If you can assist in any way, even if it is only for an hour, please let the school know.

Regrettably, the student's readiness for the carnival will be affected by the ongoing renovations on the middle and upper playgrounds. Nevertheless, we intend to proceed with the high jump event prior to the athletics carnival. A high jump lesson is scheduled for Friday, June 7th, with the actual high jump competition set for Friday, June 14th, provided that the weather permits.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook and it has been updated after the school swimming carnival held recently. This book is designed to give all members associated with our school a clearer understanding of when our school conducts our various sporting carnivals, the processes/qualifying times involved for students who want to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events as well as an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child may want to undertake in their respective sports.
