Escorting Students to Class
Effective from the start of Term 2, parents and carers will no longer be permitted to accompany their child / children to the classroom during school hours. A reminder that in the event of a late arrival, parents or carers are required to sign in their child at the reception. For families with multiple children, we kindly request that the eldest child take responsibility for escorting their younger sibling to class. Should this not be viable, a member of the office team will then escort the student to their classroom.
This policy is being implemented in accordance with the Child Safety Standards, ensuring the safety of both students and staff while minimising disruption to the learning environment.
We appreciate your understanding and co-operation.
