Dear parents and carers,
It has been wonderful to complete our first full week with our Prep students, and I cannot speak highly enough of what an amazing group of learners they are. They have settled into their classrooms beautifully, are following routines and are already engaged in their learning as though they have been part of our school for a whole term. A very big thank you to Mrs Panesar, Miss G and our wonderful Education Support staff for the care, patience and support they have provided our youngest students during their first week at Keelonith Primary School.
This week we also held our parent information sessions, and I would like to begin by acknowledging the incredible work of our teachers. From classroom teachers through to our specialist team, staff communicated our learning programs, expectations and the way we support students at Keelonith with clarity, professionalism and pride. Thank you to all families who were able to attend, it was wonderful to see such strong engagement from our community. For families who were unable to attend, I will be sharing the presentation slides via Compass so you can access the important information that was discussed and shared during the sessions.
