COLOUR RUN RECAP

What an incredible afternoon we had on Monday! The event was filled with energy, laughter, and vibrant colours as the kids dashed through the course. They had an absolute blast getting sprayed with the colours, tackling the fun obstacles, and diving into the foam pit for some muddy fun. I know our parent helpers enjoyed themselves too!

Thank you as always to our wonderful volunteers who assisted, and a special shout out to Nicole (Henry 3/4I, Patrick 3/4G, Anthony Prep) for organising the course for us and supplying all the materials.

In total the school raised $10,066 which is a HUGE amount for our mighty school. After the organisation that ran it takes their cut, we made a total of $$5,636.96, which will go towards the new veggie patch, mini orchard and outdoor learning space in the newly cleared area where the portable classroom once sat.

Congratulations to our top 3 fundraisers:

1st - Eddie (Prep) - $2,000

2nd – Clara (3/4G) - $920

3rd – Oliver (1/2S) - $900

And the winner of the free pizza lunch is PREP with a combined total raised of $3,575.00. (Date of lunch TBC)

Lastly a big thank you to our School Captains, Jordan & Amelia for being such good sports and agreeing to get slimed! We know it was a wet and cold finish to the day, but we appreciate you stepping up to do so!

We will then coordinate and distribute the prizes once they are delivered to the school. 

MOVIE NIGHT – FRIDAY 21 NOVEMBER

Movie night is back!

Next Friday night we will be screening the Christmas classic, Home Alone 2 on a big screen on the oval!

Bring along your family and something to sit on.

Hot dogs, popcorn cotton candy and gelati will be sold on the night, but families are welcome to bring along a picnic and/or movie snacks.

As we have now entered the warmer months, and the sun is setting later in the evening, we are welcoming families to arrive from 7:00pm. We hope to start the movie at approx. 8:15pm.

DJ Will is also back and he will keep us entertained until we are able to start the movie. So come any time from 7pm for a pre movie dance party.

All we ask for is a gold coin donation upon entry which will all go to the Mini Vinnies - launching their Christmas Appeal.

Note: Parking will be limited within the school carpark, so please be prepared to park in the near streets.

SUSHI DAY – Wednesday 3rd December

With much anticipation, we will be rolling out our first ever Sushi Day on Wednesday 3rd December!

Children will be offered two rolls of their choice and a packet of chips for $8.50.

The flavours they can choose from will be:

• Crispy chicken
• Tuna
• Avocado 
• Vegetable

An order form will come home next week and will include an ingredients list for those wishing to check for dietary requirements/allergies.

ICY POLES FRIDAYS

Fridays in Term 4 we are offering lemonade icy poles for $1.00.   

You have the option for paying in advance for the remaining 4 weeks on CDFPay or paying $1 each week.

Icy poles will be free of charge on our Feast Day and on the last Friday of the term.
