Curriculum updates in Religious Education, English, Mathematics and People, Place & Purpose
Religious Education
This term, our Religious Education learning has invited students to explore what it means to be stewards of God’s creation.
Our learning is grounded in Genesis 2:15, where God calls humanity to “till and keep” the Earth. Students are exploring what these words mean for us today – not simply to use the gifts of creation, but to care for, protect and nurture them.
Through the life of St Francis of Assisi, students are discovering an inspiring example of someone who recognised God’s presence in all of creation and understood the deep connection between people, animals and the natural world.
Across the school, students are being encouraged to consider an important question: How are we called to care for our common home? Through their learning, they are discovering that stewardship is something we are all called to live through the choices and actions we make each day.
First Communion
We pray for our First Communion candidates as they prepare to receive the Body of Christ for the first time this weekend and next. May this special moment deepen their relationship with Jesus and strengthen their connection to our faith community

Science Week
Celebrating Science Week!
We kicked off Science Week with an exciting whole-school science incursion, sparking plenty of curiosity, questions and wonder!
While Science Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate science, scientific thinking and discovery are an important part of learning every day at Sacred Heart. This term, our whole-school focus on Biological Sciences has students exploring living things, habitats, survival and the connections within our natural world, with visits to the zoo helping to bring this learning to life.
A wonderful term of wondering, investigating and discovering!
