SACSA Netball Carnival

On Friday 17th August, our Year 3/4 Girls Netball Team travelled to the Golden Grove Netball Courts to compete in the SACSA Netball Carnival. Despite a rainy and miserable start to the day, the weather soon cleared and the sun came out, setting the scene for a wonderful day of competition.

The girls played exceptionally well throughout the carnival, finishing in an impressive 3rd place overall. Across their six matches, the team recorded four wins, one draw and just one loss, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and skill.

Most pleasing of all was the outstanding sportsmanship displayed by our players throughout the day. The girls competed hard, encouraged one another, and showed great respect towards teammates, opponents and officials.

Congratulations to the following students who represented our school - Alona, Lucy, Hosanna, Gracie, Ariel, Zara S, Zoe and Lucy. A special mention goes to Keira and Hannah, who were selected as members of the team but were unfortunately unable to attend on the day.

We are incredibly proud of the team's efforts and the positive way they represented our school. Well done, girls!

Campus Has Talent

In the evening on Tuesday 11th August, students from across Campus shared their talents at our annual Campus Has Talent performance. It was a fantastic night, showcasing the wonderful talents of our students and proving extremely challenging our judges who had to make the final decision regarding prizes! Congratulations to everyone for their efforts - Benji, Coco, Rafiki, Cadence, Vin, Zac M and an extra congratulations to Pilgrim Band “X, Y, Z” for their winning performance! The band featured Josh W on guitar and voice, Sam on keyboard, Zach R on bass, and Max M on drums.

Our Performing Arts Captains and tech crew who contributed to the performance also deserve a special mention (some also performed): Rafiki, Cadence, Coco and Zac M. We would also like to thank all the instrumental teachers, dance teachers, and families who helped prepare our students, and the class teachers who supported rehearsals. We are also most grateful for staff that assisted to make the evening possible.

Father's Day Stall

As you may be aware, Father’s Day is almost here!

The Year 2 parents, on behalf of the P&F, will be selling gifts for your child/ren to buy in readiness for Father’s Day on Sunday 6th September.

DATE: Tuesday 1st September (Week 7)

VENUE: The Oasis Building

TIME: 9.00am - 11.00am

We will be selling items from as little as 50c to $5.00 – there is a great range to choose from. Pre-payments towards gifts can be made using the Qkr! app or cash can be used on the day. Qkr! payments will be open until 3pm Monday 31st August.
