Principal's Message

Welcome back to Term 2. We have certainly started the term with a bang. We hosted 300 Bathurst primary school staff on Monday for a professional learning day on Inclusion, Disability and Neuro-divergence. I would like to thank Yasmin for catering our lunch and morning tea. It was a massive undertaking. I had many positive comments about how lovely our school grounds are and how nice our classrooms are.

Next week primary schools across Bathurst will be having open days for new enrolments. This is so people can see the fabulous things we do at Eglinton and what Public Education has to offer. We will have a team of staff doing tours and answering any questions people may have from 9:30am - 11:30am on Tuesday through to Friday. Please let anyone you know who might be interested in their child/children attending Eglinton.

Today we held our ANZAC assembly. It was a lovely event. Thank you to the Stage 2 team for your organisation. Tomorrow I will be taking the School Leaders and the AECG leaders into town for a service at the Carillion where Bathurst schools will be laying a wreath to commemorate this special day.
