JUMP ROPE FOR HEART

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

In the second half of our term our learners will be exploring the wonders of our heart and how keeping active can affect us, not just in our success with sports, but throughout many different aspects of our life. As a part of this learning journey Hackham East will be taking place in the Jump Rope for Heart program run by the Heart Foundation. We will be learning and practicing various skipping skills, and if students like, they can participate in the School’s fundraiser which will go towards supporting heart disease research. This is completely optional to take part in, but if you child would like to there are a number of prizes to be earned for various fundraising stretches, all of which will be visible around the school as well as on our school’s Jump Rope for Heart page. We can’t wait to explore this fascinating topic with our learners, and hope they will enjoy the experience.
