First Eucharist

Congratulations to all of the children who made their first Eucharist on Sunday the 1st of June. It was a beautiful celebration and we thank all those who came along to support the children on this special day. A huge thank you to Fr Paddy, Mrs Dowell, Mrs Huard, Mr Stankiewicz and Mrs Salmon for all the work they put in to making this such a special occasion.

Baptism

Congratulations to Mia Heritage who will be Baptised in our whole school mass tomorrow!

It will be such a special occasion for all of us to be a part of.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Blessed Carlo Acutis Exhibition

We are pleased to have the Blessed Carlo Acutis Exhibition in our parish. The parish is hosting the exhibition from June 12 - 19 and it will be set up in our MPC.

Blessed Carlo Acutis was a young Italian computer programmer who died in 2006 at the age of 15 from leukemia. He was beatified by the Roman Catholic Church in 2020. Acutis is known for his deep love of the Eucharist, his use of the internet to spread the gospel, and his ability to connect with young people through modern technology.

His canonisation was meant to take place in April, however, with the passing of Pope Francis, this date was changed. Pope Leo will announce the new date of his canonisation on June 13.

Fr Paddy will be opening the exhibit to Parishioners on Sunday, following the 9:30am mass. The exhibit will be available for classes to visit Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday next week.

Vinnie's Winter Appeal

On Friday 27th June we will be holding our Vinnie's Winter Appeal.

This year we will support our local St Vincent de Paul by wearing our pyjamas to school and bringing a gold coin donation.

This is also a really good chance to clean out those wardrobes! We are asking for donations of jumpers, jackets and blankets in good condition that we can donate to St Vincent de Paul. Please send items into the office.

Feast of the Holy Trinity

This weekend in the Church we celebrate Trinity Sunday which is celebrated on the Sunday after Pentecost. This Feast Day reminds us of the three different ways we experience the one God whom we worship.

We worship God the Creator; we worship Jesus who experienced the life of a human; and we worship the way that God works within us - the Holy Spirit.
