Last week the students in 1V learnt about Jesus' Parable of the Yeast and enjoyed making and eating bread. In the parable, the yeast symbolises God's kingdom. They watched the yeast spread through the dough which parallels how faith, love, and kindness can spread and grow. This profound story reminds us of the unstoppable growth and influence of God's kingdom in our world.
This practical activity helped the students make a visual connection with the spiritual lesson.
