Principal Report

Term 4 is here!

Term 4 started with approximately 73 years 3/4 students attending a three-day camp at Sovereign Hill.  Staff and parent volunteers all had a terrific time and were well fed indeed!

The experiences and the information students consolidated about some of our history was fantastic - the mine tours and the sound and light show  were among the most popular - But the winner activity was definietely Gold panning.

In week 3, we have 89 of our year 5/6 students going on their camp to Phillip Island.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my staff for providing this great experience for our students. It is also terrifc to have willing staff to take time away from their families to spend day/nights at school camp. Thanks to families who also understand that our staff are provided Time in Leiu for their attendance and will not be at school on the two days after camp returns.

In the last week of Term 3, we had a special visit from Premier Ben Carroll to do a show and tell about our wonderful school environment ; specially what our Master Plan is all about and the improvements we need in our learning environments (especially our outdoor learning spaces).

Thank you to our student leadership body for speaking to The Premier about our school's strengths and our areas for improvements from a students perspective.

On Friday 16th October we will have a whole school assembly in which Mr Anthony Cianflone will be attending to speak to our school community.

This assembly will be held at 2.40pm in the afternoon, so you are all invited to attend.

We will also be hoping to have our winners of our talent show perform for us.
