Assistant Principal's
Report
We have reached the final week of Term 3, and it has been a busy and productive one. Thank you to our families for your support across the term. School finishes at 2:30 pm on Friday, and students return for Term 4 on Monday 5 October. We wish all families a safe and enjoyable break.
Congratulations to Nick on his appointment as Principal. It has been great to work with him in 2026, and I look forward to continuing our work on teaching, learning and wellbeing at our school together.
This week is Briony's final week with us before she heads off on family leave. We will miss her, and we are looking forward to meeting the newest member of her family when she comes in for a morning tea visit.
Well done to the 18 FNPS students who represented our school at Division Athletics last week. They competed with great spirit and showed our school values throughout the day. Good luck to the eight students who progress to the Regional event. Thank you to Ben for organising the day and for the support he gave our students.
Our end-of-term assembly will be held at 2:00 pm this Friday, 18 September. Please come along to enjoy some student performances and help us farewell the term. Students will be dismissed at 2:30 pm, straight after the assembly.
Congratulations to all our students who represented the school at Tournament of Minds, and well done to our team who progressed to the State Finals. We are proud of the hard work every student put in across the challenge. Thank you to Bronte and Tylah for supporting the students at each session and throughout the whole process.
Our Open Afternoon is on Wednesday 16th September at 3:00 pm. Families are warmly invited into classrooms to see the incredible learning that has been taking place across the term. Your child will be able to show you their work and talk you through what they have been exploring, which is often the best part. We hope to see you there.
Have a great week and enjoy your break.
Joe
