Dear Parents & Parishioners,
Thank you to everyone who supported last week’s OHR Art Show. As not everyone was able to attend the launch on Thursday evening, we were delighted to provide an opportunity for students and families to admire the wonderful art installations on display throughout Friday.
The Art Show provided a wonderful opportunity for the OHR community to come together and celebrate the artistic talents of our students. Many visitors were impressed by the creative presentation, impressive artistry and thoughtful lighting, which combined to perfectly enhance the student installations and create a memorable experience.
Above all, however, it was wonderful to witness the pride our students took in showcasing their artwork to family members, while also taking great interest and delight in admiring the artworks created by their peers.
Planning for the Growth of our School
Our student population is continuing to grow at Our Holy Redeemer. To this end the School Advisory Council, School Leadership Team and staff, have been planning to accomodate our additonal numbers. In 2027 we will grow by an additonal class, resulting in a total of 10 classes across OHR. Early next term I will communicate the class structures.
In the meantime, parents will no doubt appreciate that we will need to create an additional classroom space. To this end, OHR has engaged ROAM Architects to prepare a new school Master Plan. Within the scope of the Master Plan, ROAM will undertake planning for an immediate small works project to create an additional learning space in readiness for the 2027 school year.
These developments will be discussed in finer detail during Term Four.

Summer Uniform
Students have the option of wearing either their summer or winter uniform for the first two weeks of Term Four, but not a combination of the two. We also ask that the students wear black leather school shoes on the days they are not wearing their sports uniform.
Footy Colours Day
Tomorrow is Footy Colours Day at OHR where we aim to raise money to support kids with cancer. Our students are encouraged to come to school on this day wearing the colours of their favourite footy team. Further details, and how you can donate to this cause, can be found on the P.E. News page.
PFA Sausage Sizzle Tomorrow
To conclude the term, the PFA will hold a sausage sizzle for the students tomorrow. The cost for a sausage in bread is a gold coin donation.
OHR Spring Carnival - Only 6 Weeks to Go
The fete committee continue to meet on a regular basis to plan for this year's school fete. This is a HUGE event for our school and to ensure that it is a success the fete committee will require everyone's support.
Make sure that you monitor the class WhatsApp coms to stay up to date.
Term 4 School Closure Days
- Melbourne Cup Weekend - Monday 2 & Tuesday 3 November
- 2027 Planning Day - Monday 30 November
End of Term 3
Don't forget that the students will be dismissed at 1.00 pm tomorrow afternoon.
